TEMPORARY WORK VISA (SUBCLASS 400)

This temporary visa lets you do short-term, highly specialised work in Australia. It is suitable if you have specialised skills, knowledge or experience not generally available in Australia.

To be eligible for this visa, you must;

have highly specialised skills, knowledge, or experience that is not readily available in Australia
perform the work or activities specified in your visa grant.
be able to support yourself and any dependents
stay temporary in Australia.

With this visa, you can;

work in a highly specialised job for 3 months, or up to 6 months under special circumstances
bring family members with you, but they are not allowed to work or study in Australia
